This accessible wedding in Scotland is not one to be missed! Zara and Alex have traveled the world together, aided greatly by the groom’s own design genius: a high-tech powerchair, built by and for wheelchair users. The couple initially had trouble finding a wheelchair-friendly, accessible wedding venue in Edinburgh, so they had their wedding in Glasglow. We love their story and their celebration, documented by Sarah of Joy Story Photography.
Sure you could top your cake with one of these adorable “better together” cake toppers, but what if the two of you are more the “terrible together” type. Here are some funny cake toppers for the snarky ones, the silly couples, and the unapologetic dorks and party animals.
Warning: some of them are NSFW — or weddings…
You’ve heard of a groom’s cake, now learn about a blended family cake (with amazing cake topper to boot!). Yana and Fabian had lots of ways to include their kids in their multicultural wedding, but we totally fell in love with their blended family cake. It felt like a really solid way to make sure the kids understood that they’re a full part of the new union and celebration.
Valentine’s Day was last week, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still relish in a little lovefest, right? I found something super uplifting and adorable to give you just one small minute to focus on luuurve. Like this seriously squee-worthy red panda cake topper!
If you follow us on Instagram, you know we’re super into this unicorn cake idea. But maybe you don’t feel like massacring an innocent unicorn on your wedding day, and would like to represent your union with unicorns instead. Unicorn cake toppers to the rescue!
If you’ll be rocking a rustic cake, a succulent-themed cake, or pretty much any kind of cake that needs something awesome on top, these mini cactus cake toppers are ADORABLE. They’re just hand-crafted cactus figurines from Etsy seller Honey Thistle, but as a set, they create a sweet little desert scene.
