Planning a DIY photo booth? Some black, propped-up foam core board can turn a regular photo booth into a life-size comic strip. I may have snagged this from a fifth birthday party, but who better to teach us the ways of geek Jedi than kids? They know how to party, okay? Just cut out a rectangle large enough for a couple of people, prop up the foam core board with some stands, and you’re ready to add the theme.
If you’re feeling really ambitious, rent or buy a Stormtrooper or Darth Vader costume and get some sweet shots like this. Plus, this idea can be duplicated for tons of themes: superheroes, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Star Trek… you name it.

Great idea, but these aren’t from comics… I’d love to see an example with some DC or Marvel heroes.
That’s the beauty of the foam core frame — you can add whatever props you want.
