My passion is photography & conceptual art creations BUT… The first thing I want to know when I meet a new client is what are YOU passionate about? The weddings I’ve had the pleasure of shooting have included elephants, Avengers, Doctor Who, dinosaurs, even cemeteries! I’ve been photographing Renaissance Festival weddings since 2010, and I still love every single one! Engagements, weddings, vow renewals, handfasting, celebrations of ALL kinds, I’m in. I show up in character (ask me about the Starfleet uniform) and I know these festivals inside and out, from the best shade spots to what to do with muddy boots. I’ve shot at Scarborough, Texas Renaissance Festival (TRF), and Sherwood Forest Faire, with Kansas City, Arizona, and Pennsylvania on my wish list. I cater to the offbeat because I am one! My wedding was sprinkled with the theatrical production of the Blue Man Group which originated in New York City many years ago. I felt that I wanted some elements of traditional mixed with non-traditional which led me to being my own quirky self on my day. I cater to your nerdyness and help you figure out your BEST day possible without added stressors. I embrace who you are with no questions asked and we all work together to have fun, creative fun memories and have photographs you can look at 50 years later and have joy!

Our turnaround time varies depending on the type of photography service you require. For portrait sessions, we typically deliver photos within 1-2 weeks. For weddings and events, it may take up to 4-5 weeks. However, we always aim to deliver your photos as soon as possible while maintaining the highest quality standards. Yes! I’ve been working faires since around 2010 and their wedding days. The unique thing about faires and festivals (of all kinds) is that they create an intimate experience all around AND you are surrounded by entertainment, awesome people and endless things to do! Jen with Weirdo Weddings photography is an inclusive photographer who celebrates and embraces ALL of your ideas!
Of course! I love traveling, it is a part of who I am. We can easily talk about your location, ideas and what things matter to you. In some wedding weekends, we have added in a portrait session (at your location of choice), the Wedding Day AND if you are doing a brunch/meal with your friends and family after. The entire destination wedding experience is not just for you, it is for everyone! To me, a destination wedding isn’t just out of the USA, it is outside of my own zone of where I live!
Absolutely. I have been privy to many handfastings, ritual ceremonies in various faiths and love supporting and celebrating your love story! A handfasting photographer knows how it works and honors any and all traditions you have! We can always discuss details before your day!
Yes, Weirdo weddings photography captures ALL forms of celebration and love! When I say I’m an inclusive style photographer, I mean I will meet you in Fort Worth at the courthouse or on the beaches of Salem , Massachusetts! From front yard and back yard weddings, to art POPUPS and live experiences. I’m here for all the love!
