What does a unicorn wedding look like? Well… whatever the fuck you want it to look like. Because that's how a unicorn rolls (or clops)! But maybe… a dash of rainbows, a few fluffy things, plenty of pastel-colored hair being flung about, and perhaps some sparkles here and there.
Mostly, it's all about having fun and celebrating your uniqueness and the magic of love!
That's why I'm currently planning a wedding that's not exactly unicorn-themed, but is definitely unicorn-inspired. Whether you're harnessing the spirit of the unicorn, or going full unicorn wedding theme, here are the things that will help you pull off on magical AF event…

Our wedding featured a life-sized unicorn that sneezed glitter, peed lemonade, and shot pink fire. If that sounds more like the twisted fantasy of a six-year-old girl than a standard wedding item… well, that's just how we roll.
Katy Perry the Wedding Unicorn began her life as a black carousel horse with feathers in her hair. Upon her arrival in Brooklyn, Master Unicorn Builders Kat and Jesse Green repainted her from black to white, cut holes in her forehead, nostrils, and crotchal region and custom-built a base that would both give her height (aka “majesty”) and house the fuel tanks and keg.

One of the first purchases for the wedding was a life-sized hollow horse. My mom called me one day and said, “So, you mentioned you wanted a unicorn that could dispense beer when you pull its horn? Well, I think I found the perfect horse to transform.”
My stepfather is an engineer and always up for a random project. He researched all of the logistics, from how to cancel out the temperature rise from the beer traveling from the keg up through the beericorn to crafting several options for the horn including LED lights, another that was chrome, and a third that was a real horn. He also researched how to get one of his hot rod connections to airbrush it a pearly white.
