Christine & Derek’s misadventurous rainbow hodgepodge of freaks & geeks wedding
This hodgepodge of rainbows and sunny moments has lots of creative awesomeness and colorful memories! The bright rainbow dress! The boyfriend’s orange vest! The quiddich robes! The skit before the vows! You guys, tune in for a team that pulled together and laughed together and serenaded the nerves away….
Singing and dancing at this circus-inspired German wedding
Anneke and Michael’s wedding in Lüneburg, Germany had a traditional ceremony, a second outdoor ceremony, and a carnvial-esque costume-themed reception. The bride wore a dress handmade by one of her best friends. The first ceremony was held in a medieval watertower, and afterwards the pair bicycled to the outdoor reception where the second ceremony took place.
Make an old dress new again with a little added color
Kim’s mom gave her this flowy white dress to wear at her wedding, but the icing on the cake was definitely Kim’s addition of a new fabulous waistband and straps.
Kick-ass shoes, gorgeous gowns, and fabulous fashion
Reader submissions this week also included a rainbow-clad wedding party, even more rad shoes, and quite the spread of luscious fashion.
Fab dreads, skull flask garters, and a groom in shining armor
Karly and Steve are my new deadlock heroes. Karly’s two-tone updo is just gorgeous. This week’s reader submissions were full of other amazing shots, too, like skull-patterned flask garters, a groom in shining armor, an air plant bouquet, and a sidewalk chalked save-the-date. All of these submissions are making 2013 start off with a bang.
A Nigerian ceremony, lip-trembling first looks, and some amazing hair
Tribesmaid Revedehautbois and her groom Olawale had a traditional Nigerian engagement ceremony that included these amazing outfits (and gorgeous fan). And while this photo was a great find in the Offbeat Bride Tribe, the lovely photo opportunities just kept on coming.
