Break the glass in a whole new way with a Prince Rupert’s Drop
Val and Galen’s science tendencies led them to a really interesting and symbolic unity ceremony. They created what’s called a Prince Rupert’s Drop. I’m sure some of you academics out there know what’s up with this, but I had to take to Wikipedia and Val’s description to see what the hell this was all about.
Jodi & Kim’s glow sticks and bling wedding
This wedding has an official “flower disbursement” and “ring security agents.” Basically, they mean business. On top of that, a dog walked down the aisle, a fish was memorialized, and glow sticks featured prominently in the unity ceremony. I think we’re in for some fun. Oh, and you have to read about the jaw-dropping encounter with their first videographer. It was NUTS.
Elizabeth & Joshua’s “spring in winter” orange grove wedding
Orange groves, bee details, and pastel hues: it’s the stuff of miracles when snow covers many of us. This wedding also boasts a fabulous handmade dress, potluck food (AND potluck performances!), a tree planting ceremony, and adorable wedding party fashion. So much sweetness, so little time.
Markus & Coley’s apocalypse wedding of the future
This amazing glow-in-the-dark zombie-infested wedding is brought to you in part by SCIENCE! The offbeat groom gives us all the deets — including how the couple walked back down the aisle and straight into the Apollo test capsule. Find out how they made their unity ceremony glow and tune in to find out what song zombies will instinctively break into… hint: it’ll give you a thrill!
