Elizabeth & Joshua’s “spring in winter” orange grove wedding
Orange groves, bee details, and pastel hues: it’s the stuff of miracles when snow covers many of us. This wedding also boasts a fabulous handmade dress, potluck food (AND potluck performances!), a tree planting ceremony, and adorable wedding party fashion. So much sweetness, so little time.
Have your guests create an eternity symbol out of flowers
Victoria and Jacqueline wanted to represent “eternity” in their ceremony. After a couple of glasses of wine while planning, they had it: flowers in the eternity symbol!
The happiest gay lumberjack wedding ever
I got completely immersed in the photos sent from Kristen Marie Photography, and was cheering along with the guests (you’ll see what I mean when you get there). She described this as a “gay lumberjack” wedding, which is just fantastic. There’s summer camp/scouting influences, talent shows, tubing down a river, log cutting, and the happiest faces ever. Plus, it’s in Washington, so it’s legal. Seriously, just start looking.
Give your unity candle a kitschy twist: light a unity tiki!
Andrea and Patrick’s enchanted tiki and karaoke wedding would naturally have a tiki torch lighting unity ceremony! Both sets of parents lit the candles to symbolize the joining of the families in awesome kitsch style.
