Get great wedding photo opps with a life-size cardboard cut-out
Sometimes you need to have your favorite Wookiee at your wedding. Tribesmaid Carly had a life-size cut-out of one of her favorite Star Wars characters, Chewbacca, at her reception.
‘Stina & Graham’s DIY country ranch wedding
This pair tackled tons of DIY projects, battled some very inconsistent weather, and had to cater a party in the middle of the country. But you’d never know these were even challenges when you see the awesome Mexican catering, the cool ambiance (event producer groom FTW!), and the lovely weather. These photos give off one theme more than any other: FUN.
Kelsey & Meghan’s classic happy-sappy wedding
These two ladies decided early on that priorities were key and they wouldn’t be going into debt from the wedding. And they were able to pull together a lovely ceremony and dancefest reception (with s’mores!). You might also never guess that the bride’s two dresses and all the dresses in the wedding party were handmade, too!
Project your photobooth images at your reception
We know how many of you are doing DIY photobooths, and here’s a new twist on the ol’ printed photobooth pictures: project your photobooth shots on the wall at your reception! Granted, you might need the help of your favorite A/V Club nerd to get the set-up working… but I love that guests can see the goofy shit people are doing in the photobooth real-time on the wall of your reception!
