Plants vs. Zombies, wedding flags, and tons of TARDIS blue: a sunny North Carolina wedding
Erika and Emmanuel chose a Raleigh, North Carolina Moroccan restaurant called Babylon for their ceremony and reception spot. The venue’s brightly colored interior and exterior definitely complemented the fun vibe of the day! Wedding decor included wedding flags decorated with hearts and flags that read “Yay” and “Huzzah,” and Erika and Emmanuel carried their own “Mr. and Mrs. Emmerika” flags.

Put on your goggles and your neo-Victorian gear, because this is STEAMPUNK WEEK! Today we’ve got a burner-meets-upcycled-meets-kid-friendly celebration including fire dancing, a community-planned potluck, and a sweet ceremony interruption by the couple’s little girl. It’s laid-back and free-form and we’re loving it!
A barn wedding among the fall leaves
Molly and Scott are bad-assery in motion: awesome music-making, smoking in the boy’s room, dreadlock-sporting hip kids. They celebrated at Clay Hill Farm (a perfect fit for this week’s Barn–acle theme!), and everything looked divine against the changing leaves of Maine in October.

We got to see how these style mavens put it all together: think bright dreads + mohawk, black Utilikilts, combat boots, and even some little peacock feather accents, all layered on a purple and blue backdrop.
