Get swept away by this beachside wedding in Bequia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines
Cariona and Omorow first met when Cariona went down to Canouan (a small island in the Caribbean) for work. When planning their wedding, the couple knew that they wanted to get married down in the Caribbean where it all began. They decided on Bequia, a small island off of the main island, Saint Vincent. The couple was married on the oldest church on the island, St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Afterwards, everyone danced until the party was crashed (literally) at the end of the night, ending in a giant celebration and a spontaneous jump into the pool.
Vivid colors meet goth chic at this moody & quirky wedding inspiration
One of my favorite combinations of styles is vivid color meets dark goth glam. And this dark & moody wedding inspiration has both in abundance. With florals ranging from purple scabiosa to black willows, a sweets table full of candy apples and a tower of macarons, and two brides rocking gold antlers, turquoise hair, and coordinating (but not matchy-matchy!) whie and gray gowns, it’s a gorgeous display with an eerie and chic vibe.
“Why do you feature non-black couples with dreadlocks?” The answer is complex…

I just wanted to express how jarring it was to see on such a progressive site.” Here’s our take on dreadlocks and cultural appropriation…

A swing dance wedding on an island (with a Bitcoin unity ceremony!)
A purple mane, a swing dance theme, and lots of little elements of this pair like Futurama, Scrabble, Burning Man, and bunnies. Get ready for moonlit boat rides, a bonfire, and of course, a swing dance-themed first dance complete with hula hoops. But the most intriguing part was their Bitcoin Blockchain unity ceremony. Rustic loveliness on a budget: a potluck wedding with oodles of style
The bride wore a chic pantsuit, the groom wore locs and paisley, and the DIYed rustic burlap details (including a chic as hell fabric flower bouquet!) are killer. This potluck wedding has so much style on so little budget. Oh, and just wait until you hear how the bride walked herself down the aisle. Spoiler alert: she SANG A SONG while she walked. Oh hell yes. Get ready to swoon at this amazing wedding.
