Celebrate your actual true love with these non-edible food purses
We want to celebrate our love of adorable edible creations with equally adorable (and less edible) creations in the form of these food purses by Etsy seller Rommydebommy. Avo toast, cakes, macarons, pizza slices, even a full English breakfast — this chick knows how to craft up a super realistic homage to the noms.
Creative wedding clutches with secret messages and declarations of love
HI. Look how freaking gorgeous these peacock clutches are! From vibrant fun colors to stark and stunning black and white prints, and even bags crafted with custom fabrics inspired by Rowena’s own illustrations and photography! (I’m looking at you, Scottish Woods clutch!) Red Ruby Rose has the accessory that’s going to put the proverbial peacock feather on the cap of your wedding outfit.
Wedding clutches to flatter your wedding day white knuckles
OMG you guys, DEVIATION! For the first time since 2011, I’m doing a Friday post not about shoes… but about CLUTCHES. Some friends gave me an adorable little mini-purse clutch thing as a wedding day gift, but since I had an outdoor freakfest run around in ribbon falls dancing in the groves kind of wedding, I didn’t really use it. This missed opportunity gives me a perfect excuse to ogle the clutches that might have been… had I clutched a clutch, and clutched.
As always, these prices range from “Oh cute, buy one for each of your bridesmaids” to “What, that’s my entire wedding budget, ha ha, but wow that thing is amazing.” Also, you do get a very romantic and cute bonus shoe.
Erin & Shayne’s mustachioed, octopus, and “beericorn” Irish/Texan wedding
This wedding is a pretty easy sell: they had a BEER UNICORN! And vodka slushies! And ocotopus and mustache dresses! And tentacle fingers! And animal centerpieces! And the Cliffs of Insanity! We’re dropping-our-pants-happy about this Texas-meets-Ireland wedding. It’s too much — go on without us and enjoy!
Love triumphs over stormy weather and a reception blackout
Leah and Heather were married on June 7th at Triumph Brewing Company in New Hope, PA, where the pair had one of their first dates and countless date nights after. Leah designed the place cards, table numbers, her bouquet, Heather’s boutonniere, and the CD favors. But the best silver lining moment came when the intense storm going on caused a blackout at the reception!
Morgan & Matt’s robot love fest wedding
Robots and aliens have invaded weddings this week! It’s making me want to break it down in a binary solo. This couple had all their guests bring something robo-related, including a mini mechanical baby! And barring one robot mishap at the ceremony, it was a total success. Even some YOLOing teenagers couldn’t hamper the awesomeness.
