Decorated vans, ribbon veils, and pin curls
Check out Tribesmaid Sparklebun’s sheer cape, decorated Volkswagen, and charming-as-hell groom. I die from it all. The Flickr Pool, Pinterest, and the Tribe is making my day, and is making for a sweet collection of reader submissions for the Monday Montage.
Even the craft-impaired can make these adorable birdie cake toppers
The cake toppers have been my wedding DIY albatross. It actually never occurred to me to craft anything for the wedding. I buy things. That is how I roll. But my fiance expressed that he had faith in my never-used crafting abilities, so I give it a go and, as usual, he was right — I CAN do this stuff. If you want to make birdies from clay, give this a try.
Melissa & James’ casual geeky awesomesauce Pi Day wedding
What we have here is a case of awesome wedding with should-I-use-Offbeat-Bride-inspiration guilt. I am totally glad that Melissa decided to embrace what she loves and utilize all of the resources available. Including us! So on this Pi Day of 3/14, join us in reading about a Pi Day wedding full of geekiness, sweetness, and of course, PIES!
Daleks, wax dragons, vow gags, and a 100-year-old newlywed
Craziness ensued when I checked out what you all submitted to the Flickr Pool and the Offbeat Bride Pinterest account. Daleks, watermelon hedgehogs, flaming bananas, and a cute little vow gag. It’s always awesome to see what everyone is up to in in montage form.
