Sara and Kody arrived from Colorado to have an intimate wedding ceremony on the Adriatic Coast in Croatia, Island of Hvar. They arrived with their parents and closest friends for their handfasting ceremony in a gorgeous lavender field in the middle of the island. They are super adventurous and loved the idea of an outdoor ceremony in an unusual place.
Bride Sara told us a bit about it…
Finally, after researching the history of the island a bit, we found an abandoned lavender field on a hillside. Lavender still grew among the crumbling stone walls, and the scattered olive trees gave the area an air of seclusion and magic. We found a clearing, just the right size, and we knew it was the place.
In the soft, golden light of sunset, we made our promises and exchanged rings in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
I feel exactly the same way. That golden hour sunset was one of the most gorgeous we've ever seen. You have to see it…
