Michael Andrews is a wedding photographer based in Los Angeles with a background in photojournalism and documentary photography. So that means he's a bad-ass at capturing the moments as they happen. Or as Michael puts it, “My work is true to the day and the vision of couples I work with. I want to get the real shit, otherwise, why bother doing this!?” Amen brothah!
Check out some of Michael's favorite photos from his offbeat weddings (click on the photos to see more from each one) and take advantage of his special offer…
Michael may be based in Los Angeles but he's totally willing to travel anywhere in the US. I just love this sweet photo from Jericha and Paul's Baha'i wedding in Hawaii.
Michael can just as easily shoot a destination wedding in a tropical location as well as a traditional Buddhist wedding (like Yuko and Kevin's), that took place in a someone's home where almost everything that went on was in another language. Michael said about this wedding, “one doesn't need to speak the same language to see and feel the happiness was present.” And that idea is so very apparent in his photographs.
Oh! And you guys have seen his work on Offbeat Bride before, he was the one that introduced us all to the rock candy flower arrangements that blew our minds and inspired a ton of you guys to “rock” those at your wedding. 😉
OFFBEAT DISCOUNT: Free engagement shoot with a booking of any package (which is a $325 value!).
If you've been looking for a wedding photographer who is going to document the heck out of your wedding no matter where you are or what language you speak, then get in contact with Michael Andrews ASAP and leave your wedding moments in good hands.
