This lingerie ring has no stone, and ALL THE BEAUTY

My partner and I are searching for my perfect engagement ring, but with one rule: It can't have any stones. I'm super tough on jewelry, so it also needs to be durable, and low-profile. But I also want it to still feel pretty and girly.

All that being said, I don't just want a plain band for my engagement ring. So where can I find a durable, yet feminine engagement ring with no bling?

Lucky for you, I LOVE virtual shopping. I'm also a big fan of non-stoned (heh) engagement rings, as I had exactly that!

In fact, that rose and white gold Nalani Tapered Ring is a thinner version of my engagement ring which I love to death. So here's a roundup of stone-less wedding bands that are tough but girly.

  1. Those are lovely.

Just as a word of caution, I don’t know the ways that you are “tough on jewelry” but if it’s anything that involves getting dirty, be wary of getting anything that has tiny little crevasses or intricate detailing. My wedding band has three very small channel-set diamonds in it, and those little holes on the back get disgustingly filthy. I love my ring and I’m glad I have it, but the cleaning is an epic pain (and otherwise my really pretty ring looks very dingy).

  2. I’m particularly fond of Greenlake Jewelry Works: http://www.greenlakejewelry.com
They have a lot of pretty ones without stones, and some of the ones with little accent stones would look just as good without the stones. Rather more than $35, though.

  3. *gasp* That rose and white gold ring – I’m officially obsessed.

Love to see more rings like these in the future. 🙂

  4. These are all gorgeous! But I’m a little partial to the Nalani ring, it’s my wedding ring. 🙂 I get a lot of compliments on it because it looks kinda vintage-y. I’m ring buddies with Megan. Woo hoo!

  5. I am using a silver claddagh ring we bought on amazon.com for 12 dollars as my engagement ring. At first it was going to be a place holder til we could afford something more “diamond-y” then I looked at my hand and realized that I love my claddagh ring, and even though I still sometimes fight off doubts about not having a diamond, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The puzzled looks I get being hispanic wearing a ring that is not associated with my culture is hilarious as well.

    • Love the cross-cultureness 🙂

My husband and I are of Irish decent and we both wore claddagh rings during our engagement. On our wedding day he got a new band (he needed a more durable metal than sterling silver) and I got an identical ring in a smaller size…and am now back to wearing my original engagement ring as my wedding band. I love it!!

  6. A little late but I was recently searching for a gem-less ring myself.
I had some pretty tough criteria (recycled material, made by an independent craftperson, low energy consumption to produce, simple and no gem)

We ordered this twisted ring (they are handmade to order so it may be awhile before we recieve it), but I love the pictures: http://www.glasswingjewellery.com/userimages/procart16.htm ;13th ring on the page

  7. I know that the budget is always a problem when is the question about engagement. But, you can always find a combination of perfect design and diamond that you can afford. Mike and I have found a great deal on ww.randrjewelers.com, and we are very happy. I adore the bling and shine.

  8. My fiancé is from Denmark, and a big diamond isn’t really commonplace for an engagement ring. It’s getting more popular, but he lives in the country. So my engagement ring looks like hammered white gold band with two white gold hearts on it. The one heart does have a tiny diamond in it. But I absolutely love it. It’s girly and a little rock ‘n’ roll…just like me. I wouldn’t trade it for a big diamond ring for anything.
