Lauryn and Scott's engagement shoot might actually be art. In fact, they took a stroll through an installation art location with Chris Wojdak Photography to get their creative juices flowing! We are totally digging the vibe in these artistic engagement photos. Not only are they Instagram-worthy (which is totally NOT important, but heck, WE wanna post these on OUR Insta), but the creativity in these makes us super excited for how cool their big day will be.
Here's what Chris had to say:
Lauryn and Scott were SO RAD to work with; after having to push their wedding back repeatedly, we'd been looking for a way to help take the sting off. We settled on a road trip out from San Diego to the Desert around Salton Sea – specifically to Bombay Beach, which used to host an annual art festival (the Bombay Beach Biennale) that included a huge host of installation art. A lot of the pieces stay behind after the festival, and you can walk around through them and interact with them even long after the festival is over. We took advantage of pretty much having the place to ourselves.

We think these artistic engagement photos should be hung in a museum! We'll show you why…
Never thought toilet brushes could make for great engagement photo ideas, but here we are (and we LOVE it!).
The couple snuck a kiss in a little shanty by the sea for their engagement photo shoot. That just screams artistic engagement photos!
The shots at this installation art location are pure inspiration for artistic engagement photos.
Chris Wojdak told us “They were willing to get weird with me.” Sounds like a dream photoshoot!
Honestly, the vibes of artistic engagement sessions seem super fun and full of laughter.
If this couple was willing to get weird for their artistic engagement photos, we can't wait to see what their wedding day will look like!
