Nina and James Hawaiian-themed wedding actually took place at Bali Hai Restaurant in San Diego. There were colorful drinks, tropical flora and foliage, a gorgeous vintage-style Hawaiian-themed program, a pineapple cake (that looked delish!), and even a pirate skull on top of their ceremony arch!

We’re getting married next month and having a pirate-themed wedding. Any bits of paper we needed (whether invitations, signs, or treasure-hunt clues) I decided to make look old and pirate-y.

This technique would also be great for medieval, historical, steampunk, fantasy, or Victorian themes. Some of you may have done something like this at school, but this is such a simple yet effective bit of DIY I just had to share it!

Kazi and Joe won an elopement package at an indoor skydiving facility and decided to get wed on Halloween dressed as pirates. They married inside the tunnel with a few iFLY staff members as their witnesses (dressed as a shark and a Ninja Turtle). They were married by their iFLY instructor, who happened to be ordained.
