The undercut (or half-hawk, made popular by stars like Skrillex, among others) is a style that can be casual and punk, or in this case, glammed up and wedding-friendly. Earlier this week we featured a wedding with just such a style with short, platinum curls that totally fulfilled all our blinged-out, fairy princess wedding dreams all while being totally chic and edgy. You too can have this combination! Feast your eyes on the inspiration.
I'm cheating since this is actually a full mohawk. But Jill Scott knows how to sculpt her loc hair to complement the style.
This mini undercut could have been easily blended into a more traditional style, but why would she when it looks so amazing in an updo showing it off? Plus, it kind of reminds me of this DIY style.
Be still our retro-loving hearts! This two-tone glamour-puss look is the bomb, as in shell.
British singer Cher Lloyd is showing us the ultimate in white wedding-safe with an offbeat twist. It's total swirly, curly gorgeousness.
There are more ideas here in the hairstyle tag archive, so let us know what you're planning to rock at the wedding!

Totally going to rock something similar to the first hair style for my punk rock Caribbean wedding!
I love these images! I am actually the model for the first picture in this post. Maria Knight is the amazing mad scientist of hair styling who created this gorgeous look out of my FULL mohawk. She works at Strands Hair Salon in Clayton, MO.

I’m glad these “non typical” looks are circulating! I love it!
I know I’m a million years late, but I still have this haircut and it’s so nice to see options!!
