Allie and Cloie had their colorful and whimsical nuptials at Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, Illinois. They were officially declared as the summer’s best-dressed couple which you’ll soon see. Hold on to your tiny, adorable hats… Allie, rocking a hot pink suit topped with a tiny floral fascinator, walked down the aisle with Cloie in her ethereal, vintage-inspired dress. For two awesome humans who met at a zombie larp(!), they had the amazingly nerdy wedding you would expect and it was glorious. Each guest table was decorated with a different fandom, from Harry Potter to Dresden Files to Conan the Barbarian. Get ready to fall hard for this Jewish-Mexican wedding in Oxford, England
I am a rabbi’s daughter from New York, while Anna grew up in Mexico City (we met in England in an aerial dance class, as one does). Rather than choosing one cultural tradition, we decided to do everything that was important to us.
We now live in the British countryside, so that became part of the wedding aesthetic as well, with Anna mixing a colourful Mexican colour palette and bouquet of succulents with a tweed jacket and her polo whites.
