Two brides had the sweetest DIY farm wedding you’ll have seen yet
B + Liz are a rad couple who totally rocked an amazing, simple, and sweet-as-hell DIY farm wedding in Maryland. Every part of their day was filled with love and made to include everyone.
Check out this awesomeness. They got ready quietly together on the farm owned by a family friend. They had friends contribute to a collaborative playlist of music. And Liz’s mom baked EVERY ONE of those cupcakes. It was truly a community effort backed by a whole lot of love. Don’t miss Liz’s retro-styled pink hair, sweet sequined gown, B’s KILLER suit, and the farm animals grazing all around…
Throwback style and sweet moments all over this vintage eclectic wedding
Amy and Camilla took their vintage style and ran with it by incorporating it in their killer outfits and placecards (vintage photos!). Their friend officiated in drag(!), they got shoe tattoos instead of exchanging rings, and also gave out temporary tattoos as favors. The venue was ideal for them with its eclectic style of antique frames, glassware, furniture, and the glow of tons of twinkle lights.
Don’t miss their pink and mint dresses (the pink dress was made by Amy’s mom!), their fabulous retro hairstyles, and fun trivia game…
Lauren & Lauren’s sweet and laid-back wedding at a historic synagogue
This laid-back two-bride wedding in Madison, Wisconsin got us right in the feels. We were able to snag the whole story from the brides, Lauren and Lauren(!), and it’s amazing. Think two special venues, lots of community support, sustainability, and loads of personal details. But let’s let the two Laurens (differentiated by “taller Lauren” and “shorter Lauren” here) explain…
Bring a date or go stag: just get yourself to this nostalgic PROM-THEMED wedding
It’s time to relive your high school years (or get a kick-ass REDO!) at this retro-tastic PROM-THEMED wedding. Just to whet your appetite: Christy and Stuart were crowned bride and groom, they wore sashes, roses, and crowns, and even rocked the “surprise” of it all. The guestbook was — you guessed it — a YEARBOOK. There was a balloon arch, prom poses at the photo booth station, a pink stretch limo, corsages, and it was all held in an actual high school gym (winner for wedding venue we hadn’t yet seen!).
Whether you remember your high school years fondly or not, you can’t deny the nostalgic magic of this throwback wedding in all its prom glory. Grab some punch, spike it with something good, and get ready to party, prom-style…
