A unity ceremony with glass and 2100 degrees of heat: you’re going to want to see this
What if I told you that you can take a unity ceremony to a seriously higher level by crafting up your own custom, totally unique, and handcrafted piece of artwork derived from those ingredients in your unity ceremony that will last forever? Just choose your colored glass crystals, the style of sculpture you want, add 2100 degree molten crystal… and get ready to lose your shit. Let’s see how it’s done with our sponsor, Unity in Glass.
Yes it’s an air plant wedding bouquet!
Lots of kids + lots of games + lots of time to run around = lots of fun. That’s the theory of this wedding and it TOTALLY worked. Add in the gorgeous venue, two different ceremonies, and lots of DIY, and this community-oriented wedding wins the day. Even though the guest list spiked by 75, these two pulled it together with the generosity of friends (and even a fellow Tribesmaid!).
Bethany & Shawn’s geeky retro aviation museum wedding
Let me just leave this here: Adventure Time cake, custom manga shoes, retro pin-up style, and a killer aviation museum venue. We can’t even get over the CAKE! You have to see it. Plus, all the awesome group shots in the museum and the sweet kissy-face shots. And let’s not forget the whispered naughty secrets during the portrait session in the comic book store!
Talia & Charles’ herbtastic foodie wedding
Olive oil favors, herb centerpieces, a unity cocktail — this wedding sounds delicious! Add in the bride’s bright orange dress (that becomes short for dancing!), a salt covenant, and even a foot washing, and it becomes pretty damn tear-jerking, too. Plus, you’ll never guess how the best man started our his speech. Hint: it was just as special as the bride’s vows!
A retro polka-dot cocktail party wedding
Retro dresses, victory rolls, in-ceremony Facebook updates, a pre-ceremony cocktail party, lots of polka-dots, and an impromptu feat of strength on the dance floor: it’s a retro wedding for everyone!
Maddy & Jacob’s garden and arcade geeky wedding
A rainbow xkcd cake with raptor cake topper, an arcade party with Donkey Kong favors, and a gorgeous garden ceremony that blends tradition while shaking things up. I know this is some of y’all’s dream wedding. And it certainly was for this pair.
