Ring Pops, donuts, and ladies in love at this Voodoo Donuts wedding
Natya and Kris had a small but kick-ass ceremony at the famous Voodoo Donuts in Portland, OR. There were, as always, about 20 people in line at the store and many more outside along the sidewalk. This meant that there were tons of onlookers, many of whom only just realized there was a tiny wedding happening.
There were gorgeous photos out by the waterfront, a sweet (literally and figuratively!) donut-filled ceremony with Ring Pop rings, and a gorgeous pair of ladies in love. Let’s take a peek at this Voodoo Donuts wedding…
These two guys are the absolute CUTEST at their romantic Catskills wedding
Arthur and Scott’s Hudson Valley, New York wedding was an amazing example of a romantic Catskills wedding. Gorgeous mountain fall scenery (of course!), two handsome men, and some geeky details that are not to be missed. Oh, and don’t even think about skipping the hilarious and super sweet couples shots, the drum solo from Arthur at the reception, and the groom/groom matching socks. These two are KILLING IT with cuteness. Let’s take a peek…
It’s been one year since the SCOTUS decision that legalized same-sex marriage…
As the first anniversary of the SCOTUS decision that legalized same-sex marriage rolls around, we remember that the continued perseverance of these communities are making a difference. Is it still mind-blowingly slow and frustrating and hard? Hell yes. But as Lin Manuel Miranda so heart-wrenchingly uttered at The Tonys, “love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love cannot be killed or swept aside.” This anniversary, marked with the pain of the worst mass shooting in recent U.S. history (which targeted the LGBT and people of color communities), has to remind us to keep fighting. Let’s take a look back at some of our coverage of the various legal decisions and a few of our own favorite LGBT weddings we’ve featured.
Behold the vintage-chic decor at this industrial garden party wedding
Vanessa and Octavia had their industrial garden party wedding at the super industrial-chic venue, Tap Architecture in Oklahoma City. Vanessa wore a stunning Mexican-inspired wedding gown (a nod to her heritage) complete with flowers in her hair and a wildflower bouquet put together by friends. Octavia wore a short contemporart dress and a giant flower fascinator that we LOVED. Don’t miss the crafty vintage decor!
