Use wine corks as your guestbook
Suzanne and Tim have a tradition — when they open wine with friends, they write the date and names of everyone present on the cork. They found a pretty great way to work this tradition into their Whovian winery wedding last year by using the corks as their guestbook.
Shyn & D’Angelo’s laid-back recycled wedding
Reusing, recycling, and a little dumpster diving totally made this wedding into a low-maintenance cleanup wonder with awesome DIY projects like a wine cork guest book, self-catered picnic noms, and jam jar lanterns. A custom-made dress and Prohibition Era attire made it super stylish on top of that! Add in the lush green ceremony space, and you’ll be googly-eyed for this couple.
Suzanne & Tim’s Whovian winery wedding
The Day of the Doctor is coming in honor of Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary. What better way to relish one of our fave fandoms than to have a Doctor Who theme week? Today we’ve got a Whovian couple who got engaged while dressed as Doctor Who characters and wanted to tie that into their decor. Include some Gallifreyan script, some TARDIS blue, and a really fun idea for a guest book, and you’ve got this amazing winery wedding.
Use “blessing stones” to bring your wedding love mojo back home with you
Do you wish you could bottle up and save all the loving vibes that’ll be shared and expressed on your wedding day? Well, offbeat couple Sage and Nathan used “blessing stones” to harness all the love-y energy generated by their wedding guests and bring it home with them.
