Let’s take a peek at part one of a STELLAR wedding weekend itinerary in Sonoma County, California…
Lauren and Olivia (aka “Chicken”) had the most dreamy farm wedding with epic views of the Catskill Mountains. We’re talking rustic nature-inspired centerpieces, a rich autumn color palette, and a a rainbow effect in the bridesmaids dresses.
Don’t miss the farm animals milling about, the lawn games, the handcrafted details, Olivia’s chicken cufflinks(!), and these two gorgeous people in love…
Emily and Rodney had a vintage-inspired wedding in Michigan with fall colors, tattoos, Princess Bride and Harry Potter cameos, and woodworking details. Emily is a woodworker and made the inlay for Rodney’s ring. She and her grandfather own a woodworking business so they were able to make most of the decor together.
Her uncle officiated the wedding, starting off with a homage to The Princess Bride, which had everyone laughing. She had some Harry Potter-inspired vows which made everyone sob.
We wanted an outdoorsy, Game of Thrones meets Burning Man meets Asian customs wedding. It opened with a "Red Army" parade: a parade of our closest friends with banners, drums, bubbles, and flowers! The groom, Nick, also read family vows to my daughter. We had 300 pounds of meat (because we both love food), belly dancers, live music, fire performers, and a bounce house!
Josh and Mary had stunning farm wedding in Halfmoon Bay, CA that made us want to curl up under the stars and dream of love. Their goals? Rustic, outdoors, and super comfortable and fun. Did they succeed? You betcha. Let’s hear from Mary herself on how they made their chill farm wedding happen…
