A fabulous rainbow geek social media wedding
I’m going on 300 weddings edited and this is the FIRST French wedding I’ve done! In fact, we haven’t seen one in over two years. But when it finally came around, it came around with a bang. You will love this adorable couple, their rainbow-tastic details, geeky references, funky dancing, and ingenious use of the Tribe to get to vendors they wouldn’t otherwise have access to in France.
Melanie & Justin’s colourful carnival love affair wedding
This couple is known to throw major ragers, and this wedding had to top them all. The order of the day was carnival: popcorn, lemonade, games, candy, and ten confetti canons at the ceremony. It’s weddings like these that make me want to cut out and hit the midway.
Spring & Alex’s colorful lawn games and giant pillows wedding
One look at the pink crinoline, the multicolored roses, and “cakeluck” display, and you’ll be begging for more. Picture a beautiful daytime wedding in the park complete with lawn games, giant pillows to lounge on, and a ceremony that started with “Can I get a ‘hell yeah’?”
Teena & Eddie’s colorful renaissance handfasting in the round
A fabulous red renaissance dress, kilts all around, a squee-worthy mushroom cake, and a dragon ring bearer — it can only mean the cutest little wedding in the round you ever did see. And if you’re unsure of how to include your guests in the ceremony, you’ll want to see how this bride created her bouquet! Oh, and watch out for surprise flying birdseed.
Krista & Rob’s colourful relaxed DIYed wedding
This wedding is full of eye candy including mug centerpieces with nesting doll favors, handmade clutch purses for the bridesmaids that matched their colorful shoes, and an adorably accurate custom cake topper on their rainbow dot cake! It was obvious that this wedding would be full of music, dashes of crafty goodness, and lots of love. There are also some key bits of advice in this one, including putting a time limit on your ring warming!
Leanna & Matt’s Poe-inspired New York wedding
A librarian weds a book seller with Edgar Allan Poe details and a post-reception jaunt to a comic book store in Times Square? That’s some major book nerdity for this week’s Bookish weddings theme. This destination New York City wedding may have had everyone running late, but the scenery and city lights made it all worthwhile.
