Beatrijs & Danny’s colourful industrial wedding
This couple’s beautiful celebration is full of contrasting elements and bright details, from the groom’s neon green shoes to the bride’s bright blue fingernails. Among all the tough stuff and inclusive measures like making sure there was plenty of seating inside and out, you’ve also got to love how they were able to include the bride’s father, recuperating in the hospital, via iPhone presence and Skype.
A colorful gay Mexican Dia de los Muertos wedding
This wedding explodes with color, papel picado, and Dia de los Muertos imagery. But seriously… the best parts are the choreographed ceremony entrance and the amazing choreographed hip hop first dance (that we teased last week!). Don’t fret, because there are videos for both that you don’t want to miss!
Kaity & Chuck’s rainbow farm wedding
No hurricane was able to dampen the spirits on this pair’s wedding day. They had their heart set on a farm wedding and made it happen despite Hurricane Isaac’s threats. There were also handmade bridesmaids’ dresses, a mom who saved the day altering the bride’s dress, and last-minute rainbow-decorated barn.
A colorful and elaborate Indian and American fusion wedding
This is a wedding in two parts celebrating two cultures combining. You don’t want to miss the ultra-colorful saris, the fluffy red reception dress, the henna (that took 11 hours!), the giant pillow cake, and the sweet first look. So much to see, it’s like sensory overload in the best way possible.
Psyche & Legend’s colorful queer Burner campout wedding
This pair crafted an epic weekend-long celebration of their love with lots of color, lots of wet and cold camping, a eleven-year-old’s rendition of “White Wedding,” and even gift bags representing the 10 principles of Burning Man. Plus, you’ll love the bride’s totally apt choice of reading.
A funky and colorful craft museum wedding
Funky, colorful, and personalized was the goal for this celebration of Mary and Carl. It was intended to be outdoors, but the backup rain plan had to be used! Good thing the indoor space was awesome. Mauryn Kkira at Creative Wedding Solutions handled the design, decor, and custom centerpieces at this colorful and bookish wedding.
