An backyard engagement pool party becomes a surprise wedding complete with the couple quite literally taking the plunge after they got married! Some friends may have had to pick their jaws up off the floor, but it was a wild surprise wedding ride that made for a low budget, high fun day.
Wedding dresses to crush on: 7 sleeved gowns
You know what you rarely see on wedding gowns? SLEEVES! Sure, you can always find a nice bolero or lacy jacket to pair with your strapless dress to give the illusion of sleeves, but finding a gown with the sleeves already attached isn’t always the easiest task. I’ve found seven inexpensive options that are pretty sweet, including the saucy knee-length number above that’s just begging to be danced in.
A self-uniting wedding on a historic boat
We’re on a boat for this one, folks, and the trip is well worth it. We’ve got two fabulous gowns, a groom styled after a dapper character from Rock Band, groomsmen dancing to the Power Rangers theme, and the sweetest ceremony reading story EVER. Oh, and just try not to be jealous of the unplanned fireworks show during the reception!
An international Colorado mountain wedding weekend
From self-catering the event to a little social anxiety to some rain before the ceremony, this wedding could have gone awry. But this pair ended up with a super positive, love-affirming, and GORGEOUS mountain-y wedding. Even the ceremony ended up unintentionally extra awesome by becoming a wedding in the round! Erin & Shayne’s mustachioed, octopus, and “beericorn” Irish/Texan wedding
This wedding is a pretty easy sell: they had a BEER UNICORN! And vodka slushies! And ocotopus and mustache dresses! And tentacle fingers! And animal centerpieces! And the Cliffs of Insanity! We’re dropping-our-pants-happy about this Texas-meets-Ireland wedding. It’s too much — go on without us and enjoy!
