The offbeat bride: Sarah, head of customer support for software house
Her offbeat partner: Ian, car mechanic
Location & date of wedding: Norman church in the Cotswolds in Langford, Gloucestershire, UK on December 13th, 2008
What made our wedding offbeat: I refused to be anyone but myself. My dress, the tiara, and the bridesmaid dresses were made specifically to my requirements.
Regardless of family pressure, I refused to have a conventional “white dress” kind of wedding and also refused to cover up my tattoos … after all, they are a part of me.
Our biggest challenge: Our biggest challenge was getting everything done as we tried to do as much as possible ourselves. Our friends and family were super helpful.
My mother-in-law made the bridesmaid dresses and my sister-in-law made my skirt and jacket, and a friend's Mum made our wedding cake!
My favorite moment: My favourite part was the look on people's faces as we entered the church.
My offbeat advice:The best advice I have is to go with your gut instinct. Don't allow anyone to turn your head. You know best what will be just right for your wedding day. Also, try to relax and enjoy it as much as possible.
Some of my vendors: My limited edition corset was made by Angels Carrying Savage Weapons. My skirt, jacket and corsages was designed and created by Vikki Lafford. Last but not least, my custom made tiara was the beautiful creation of Tiararama.

You are absolutely right girl! And what a beautiful dress that is – congratulations on your marriage, and having your wedding your way!
Wow, you got married the same day I did! Love your porn and it looks like we have quite a bit in common re: styles!
Wow, thanks guys 🙂 and you are all S’s
The flowers on the dress were individually handmade and took on average an hour each to make. They were hand painted and used a combination of Swarovski Crystals, Czech crystals, fresh water pearls and glass beads….plus some other bits which I have no idea about…lol
Wow, you look absolutely fabulous. I love your dress!
Ahh thank you…nearly a year ago now but I still love the dress 🙂
