First comes baby then comes marriage: our favorite parent couples who got hitched

Hi there! I got divorced a couple of years back and am partnered again planning a wedding for Halloween 2020. However, we decided to do the whole kid thing beforehand and will hopefully have a little one at our wedding by then. I'm looking for advice/examples of bad-ass families who married post-baby. YES to weddings of parents! We have a whole archive of those and they're always so awesome to see. Sometimes it's couples who had kids first, second marriages of already-parents, or blended families making a whole big new family. In all of those cases, we love seeing the kiddos featured in the wedding somehow especially if they feature some lovely family vows.

Based on your suggestion, I rounded up some of my favorite photos of parents getting married with their kids present and a few family vow examples as well. Let's get to Brady Bunch-ing!

We wrote our own vows, and included vows from Rich to his new stepson, Riley. Riley was thrilled with the Ring Pop Rich surprised him with.

My uncle officiated the wedding and read an incredibly touching, comical speech he wrote after interviewing us separately. We then read the vows we wrote for each other. It was important for us to have our girls be more involved than just flower girls. So before we exchanged rings, Cody presented them with necklaces. We shared a kiss and walked away to “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Her boys walked her down the aisle, her daughter was the flower girl, and my son walked me down the aisle.

We exchanged rings, written vows, and invited our son up to receive a ring as well. D'Angelo vowed to love him and be there for him forever, followed up by a hug and a falcon punch to the stomach, a typical greeting in our house.
