There was an eclectic mix this week in the Offbeat Flickr Pool. We have some geeky cufflinks and ties, a clay flower bouquet, and a rained-out bride making the best of a wet situation.
Sometimes as a bride, you find yourself with an unexpected photo prop… such as a life-preserver. I love the look on her face! She's handling it just fine.
And later, the same pair find themselves rained out! Or not, as is the case here. Rain or shine, the first dance must go on. At least some tiny guests came prepared.
Tribe member Molix painted these wooden doll cake toppers to look like them and their kitteh, Muffin. Cats on cakes FTW!
This groom celebrates his nerdosity with most excellent Superman cufflinks. Oh, and there were Star Trek ones among the party as well.
Paper hearts on a string in vibrant purples! We've got the tutorial for these, in case you are inspired. I love the patterned paper!
This Monday Montage is chock full of WoW love, ornament bouquets, ransom notes, and even a RIB CAKE! That Offbeat Flickr Pool never ceases to... Read more
Tribe member booandgagamomma hosted what looks like a pretty crazygonuts dance party. We've got one guy fit for the sprinkler championships and another channeling the '90s with a “wassuuuuup!” Count me in for the Carlton Banks.
These boutonnières were made by tribe member booandgagamomma from her late grandpa's nuts and bolts collection in his workshop. It looks like something from some awesome gadget-y robot animated film!
Looking for something non-floral and kinda different? How about CLAY flowers?! Tribe member Savychacha had hers made by Etsy seller ClayBouquetShop.
Space-y tie, bro. Jacob's satellite tie is killer with his suit.

Hey, photographers! I love you and do my best to attribute all Monday Montage photos, but sometimes brides don't include your info when they submit photos. If I've featured your work but it isn't properly credited, email me!

The same cake topper maker and what looks like the same tie designer, I’m guessing the bride is an etsy fan too! – This is my wedding!!! I love it!!! lol 🙂
Actually, that tie is much cooler than just any old satellite – it’s the Apollo module linking up with the Soyuz module, which was a huge moment in US-Soviet cooperation in human spaceflight.
