New York couple Sonia & Tom got permission to do an engagement session at their favorite bar/event venue in Brooklyn — the notorious Saint Vitus. The couple fit in perfectly with the setting and decor and really brought their badass selves to the table, or ummm — the stage, and let their love and shared passion for metal music take over the scene.
It was not love at first sight for Sonia and Tom… they each thought the other was a “snob” because Tom was into “traditional” Heavy Metal while Sonia enjoyed Black Metal.
Eventually, Tom became the audio engineer for one of Sonia's productions for a band she was managing, and thus the greatest metal merger came into existence.
To celebrate their engagement shoot, we asked Sonia and Tom to help us compile the ultimate heavy metal wedding songs playlist.
