One trend that has lasted for years on Offbeat Bride is the timeless, ever-flattering corset. It easily transitions from costume to steampunk to elegant and simple. We have so many amazing vendors with whom we work who create absolute works of art for our readers that it's hard to even keep track of them all. What better way to try than to round up the most recent and most awesome wedding corsets we've seen in years? Let's ogle the intricate details, fabulous waistlines and Venus folds created by these looks.

This page features vendors from our curated Offbeat Wed Vendor Directory. They're awesome and we love them. If you're a vendor let's get you in here!
Ok, now I’m inspired to send in pics of mine after the wedding! It was important to me to get a custom-fit corset, which is a step up from made-to-measure but requires you to actually be physically in the same place as the designer so she can put a muslin mock-up on you and pin it to fit exactly, so I picked someone close enough to me for a visit or two in person. If you’re ordering one remotely and can’t get it fitted in person, the most custom you can get is made-to-measure (you send the designer all your measurements and she goes from there). I’m so excited to wear mine! I used the corset info from the Lingerie Addict blog which has a huge corset information round-up to decide what kind and shape I wanted before I contacted anyone. They like Dark Garden there, too. My corset is kick-ass- it’s black and sapphire blue, with pinstripe lace to give it a slight menswear wink, and I have a skirt made from the same blue silk to complete the look. My FMIL is going to be scandalized, though we’ve warned her I’m not wearing white 🙂
Loving these corsets. Especially the purple and steampunky ones.
I am so excited to share my experience in a few weeks about getting a corset from Dark Garden… it was such a crazy process, getting measured and fitted. They literally fitted it to my skeleton! *swoons*
Your posts are always interesting and different. I just love this one, it made me laugh:) Thanks for this lovely post.
