Behold these bridesmaids in white dresses
An Offbeat Bride reader emailed us about her idea to wear a colored wedding dress while her bridesmaids don white ones. She also expressed her exasperation when it came to finding photos of other brides who have pulled off this fabulous color switcharoo. So, I thought I’d round up a few of our favorite examples from offbeat weddings past that just might have you re-thinking your wedding dress colors.
Formal faux hawks, undercuts, and other lady-mohawk awesomeness
Got a pixie or short cut? Need something a little bolder for your wedding day? Check out these faux hawks and mohawks for some height, color, and serious style. (You can even do some of these with long hair!)
We’ve got legs (and how to dress them up right)! Tights and socks for your wedding style
It was a serendipitous moment when Ariel and I were mass-pinning socks and tights onto the Offbeat Bride Pinterest account and a reader emailed asking for a tights round-up. Then it was GAME ON! It’s chilly for a lot of us now, so what’s more appropriate than some warm (and maybe some sexy) tights?
Superficial snack: a different kind of body art
After featuring Lenny’s bridespaint at her wedding in the Netherlands, I had to investigate to see if this was becoming a THING. It’s amazing and I want to see more! But so far I’ve only seen this particular brand of body art in Europe. Take a look at a couple of examples in this week’s Superficial Snack.
