We've been seeing snippets from an upcoming “comedy and cartoons” wedding that we've been LOVING. I couldn't stop myself from sharing Julia and Mike's coaster save-the-date. Here's what Julia told us about it…
Mike actually made our save-the-dates into coasters with the graphic on it from his intended proposal before I beat him to the punch by proposing to him! Originally, he was going to make a 45 record with covers of “our songs” he was going to record, with that image as the label on the record itself.
When our engagement was all said and done (and we cried and cried and cried), he decided to recycle that into our save-the-dates since it seemed most appropriate.
While it's sad that the 45 wasn't used for the proposal, it's excellent that it became a super sweet symbol of their upcoming date. I hope those song covers made it into many a date night, too. Plus, Julia got to be the one to propose and we never hate that. What's better than two lovers racing to propose to each other? #lovegoals
Oh, and here's a shot of them in a ModCloth shoot because they are just that cute…
