Kat and Michael had a kick-ass wedding in Memphis with a “minimal geek” theme. Our favorite part that we could not stop swooning over was the bride's gorgeously sleek, bright pinky red braided mohawk hairstyle. We just had to share her fabulous look to which we are now all aspiring. So simple, so colorful, so gorgeous! But first, let's read a little from Kat's perspective about the wedding itself:
We trimmed a lot of events and traditions we considered unnecessary, and didn't really decorate the venue beyond what was already there. There were a ton of little geeky things arranged in such a way that a casual or non-fan of that particular geekdom wouldn't find out-of-place at a wedding, like a little secret between us and our wedding party. I made my bouquet and my Matron of Honor made boutonnieres for Michael and the officiant. The flowers are latex, but everyone swore they looked real!
Now let's bask in Kat's amazing hair look!

As a fellow mohawked bride to be…. this made me really happy. The mohawk was a spur of the moment decision to chop off the other side of my hair (i already had a large undercut on one side) and i spent about 2 hours the day after sobbing about missing my hair but now I love it and even feel like I could show it of at our wedding 😀
