When Boston's Kristen Schueler became a photographer, she had one rule: no weddings. But thankfully, something happened to her that would change her mind — would you believe soup had to with it? Today, she's shooting some of the most amazing wedding photos that I've ever seen, full of light and color and happiness. I mean, take a look at that heavenly piece of wedding photography up there! How is that even real?
Keep reading to find out how two cans of soup made it possible for Kirsten to give YOU heavenly wedding photos with a special offbeat discount.
Yes, these are the two infamous cans of soup that helped Kristen decide to shoot weddings. As she explains:
Poofy sleeves, stiff poses, awkward smiles — I wanted nothing to do with it. And then something crazy happened: I shot a wedding. A quirky bride and groom, who named their guest tables after things that meant something to them, opened my eyes to a different kind of wedding. My favorite was the head table, “We both Love Soup,” named after a fantastic quote from the mock-umentary Best in Show. A cake made out of twinkies, stand up comedians making toasts, cocktails before the ceremony — who knew you could plan a wedding with your own guidelines? Well, I certainly didn't, and from then on, wedding by wedding, my love grew.
Now she's rocking weddings something FIERCE. Her fancy website is so full of gorgeous, bright, happy photos that I have to warn you — it might make your face hurt from smiling as much as the two in that beautiful “just married” photo above.
