I'm going to be honest with you all: I've always been a bit of a noob when it came to strapless, sleeveless, backless, and otherwise -less dresses and how to hold up the babs. I've got a larger-than average set which I THOUGHT required more leverage. It turns out I'm totally wrong. This is super great. I would have been over the moon to find something like this a decade ago when I was still in a double-D! I really hope they expand to some *even* *bigger* cup sizes. I’ve been trying to figure out if I can squeeze my G-cup girls into some double-D contraptions, or if I am just going to have to navigate away from the wealth of backless dresses that seem to be saturating the market right now.
Same… backless dresses are so gorgeous, but these aren’t an option for me unless they greatly increase their size range–and even then, I’m skeptical it would be able to give me any actual lift, rather than just mashing my boobs down in a rather ugly fashion.
Side note: why must seemingly every website refer to dresses with sleeves, high necklines, and/or no plunging back as “MODEST”? *eye roll* I’m not ~modest~, my boobs are just too big to work in a strapless or backless dress.
Yes to all of this. As I windowshop to get a feel for what different salons and stores are carrying, I’m seeing a ton of dresses that I get excited about because they have some sort of strap and a little more coverage up front….but then the back is nonexistent or sheer and just not (seemingly) an option. (I can’t imagine what is upfront has enough structure to support these girls.) Has anyone with E+ cups got any stories of how they made this work (or didn’t)?

Well, I wear a K cup and have run into the same issue. The one thing I’ve been able to find that would work for me is certain dresses by Maggie Sottero. Odette Marie, Mckenzie Marie, Olyssia, Deirdre Marie, and Darcy Marie (it seems like they add “Marie” to the versions that are more ~modest~), Cora, Edalene, and Hayley Lynette all have full backs, iirc–at least, I think that’s largely why I pinned those dresses. Also, Cathy Anne from the lower price range Rebecca Ingram. But they all have sleeves (most of them long), and depending on what season you’re getting married, that obviously might not be ideal. I’m getting married in November in New England, so it will work for me.
Otherwise… a bolero, maybe? But again, that may not be great for you if you’re getting married when it’s going to be warm.
I’m also really into forgoing traditional veils worn from the head, for capes worn off the shoulder. These mostly seem to be popular with sleeveless dresses, but I could see a cape getting in the way once the ceremony is over.
