You guys made the Offbeat Flickr Pool pretty fun this week. Dresses I want to nab for myself, rockin' gloves, and a kid throwing horns (aka the mini metalhead necessary for any wedding). Check out the latest and greatest to fill up the Monday Montage from the Flickr Pool and the Offbeat Bride Pinterest account.

The wee metalhead made me squee. If only I knew a kid young enough to mold into one…
I agree; he’s such a cutie!
he was amazing 🙂
That cake at the end is awesome. It’s definitely opera inspired, I can see Madame Butterly art on the bottom tier. I wonder if it’s all Puccini?
La Bohème, Tosca, Turandot, Madame Butterfly… definitely Puccini-Cake! ^^
I love it… but I don’t think I would like it as a wedding cake… thinking about how all these love stories end… :s
I love that it exists. 😀 Yeah not very wedding-y, but still romantic and opera-geek! I agree Tosca and Turandot and all deserve some recognition, not just Boheme!
OMG that dress! Is that Dana, of voi spinning fame?
Yep, it sure is. More to come on that dress soon! 🙂
OMG yes it is Dana! I know her as she is a fellow bellydancer. Not well enough to be invited to the wedding, but I do know a bit about it. It was a steampunk themed wedding and Dana helped make the dress herself out of dyed silk parachutes from the military surplus store! I’m sure she will tell y’all about it. 😉
I just went through the pictures on flickr…Holy sweet baby jesus! She got me into belly dancing with voi though I don’t have her video. That dress is amazing! I can’t wait to hear about it and see MOAR!!!
