My Two Dads

Janna and Bryan found a super fun and super inexpensive way to create an aisle at their rural New York wedding: pinwheels! It added some whimsy, some movement, and best of all, very little set-up time. You can buy them in bulk for cheap and you're basically done.

Comments on Create an aisle out of pinwheels

  1. Oooh I am totally stealing this idea! I’m getting married in Central Park where basically nothing is allowed (no music, chairs, booze etc etc) but there’s no ban on pinwheels! Thanks for sharing this!

  2. Pinwheels always remind me of Project Zero/Fatal Frame games so there’s something mysterious and seriously cool about them. Imagine having those suckers spinning on a misty night! <3

  3. Aww man! I’m already planning on doing this for my wedding in June. My mom has hand made all of the pinwheels, and they’ll be used to outline the perimeter of the venue grounds. Didn’t think anyone else would have thought of this! Great minds think alike, I guess.

    • Release the disappointment: it’s all been done before… but it’s never been done by YOU! 🙂
