Two Frog Bog has offered one-of-a-kind Air B&B stays for eight years. But we have often wished for a space where we and our guests can come together to celebrate life events in a natural, beautiful, unusual, and nontraditional setting. After all, those are the qualities largely reflected in our guests' personalities.
Our new WoodHenge provides an intimate space where guests can gather for special events. Ten columns encircle a space with a firepit and gorgeous turquoise rock comprising a starburst on the ground.
Located halfway between Olympia, Washington, and Mt. Rainier, the Two Frog Bog WoodHenge setting is private and perfect for small, intimate ceremonies. We also include five glamping spaces that can accommodate up to 15 people.
How I cater to offbeat weddings
When I came to the land that was to become Two Frog Bog, I was moved to create a place of sanctuary for all people. It has evolved in ways I could never imagine with sometimes casual decisions becoming almost magical.
The Two Frog Bog WoodHenge was just such a decision. It was imagined as a casual, temporary structure that has morphed into a permanent 26-foot-wide by 10-foot-tall magical outdoor cathedral in a woodland setting. The henge, while fashioned after the ancient henges of Northern Europe, begs to be used for ceremonies done the old way, or the new.
We love nontraditional and quirky folks who like to create fantastic events. Check out our Facebook and Instagram feeds to see what we mean!
Is this the right vibe for your event? Let’s talk about it! Go to our website and fill out the form in the WoodHenge section to schedule a phone call with me, Elona Raven Kafton.
"I've been in love with Two Frog Bog since I first attended seminars and glamped on the site. Everything about it feels magical. Yes, magical. You'll hear that word applied to the place quite a bit. From the rustling aspen leaves to the bird calls and wandering wildlife, to the straw bale home and creatively appointed and deliciously comfortable glamp sites. And now, the WoodHenge! It's only just getting started but the delight visitors take in the structure is adorable. You must see it in person to understand the charm of the location. Visit it before you book anything else." - Debra MacDonald Stenberg
