Looking for a wedding photographer in southern Sweden or Denmark who gets your vibe? I’m Tove – a feminist, eco-conscious documentary wedding photographer based in Malmö in the south of Sweden. I capture chill, equal and heart-centered weddings for couples of all genders, pronouns and gender expressions.

I specialise in relaxed storytelling for local bi-national couples and international weddings. Whether your family speaks Swedish, English or a beautiful mix of both – “swengelska” as I usually call it, I’ll fit right in like a friend with a camera. I’m here to capture the raw emotions, the messy laughs and the quiet moments of connection.

What was the moment you realised you didn't fit into the traditional wedding industry?

Oh, as soon as I started ha ha! I´m a strange mix of a lot of different customs and traditions since I´ve moved around a lot as a kid so I´ve never been traditional in any sense. I like thinking – and living – outside the box.

What’s your dream wedding theme? Bucket list type've theme.

What's your favourite wedding tradition and why?

First Looks! I think they are a perfect start of the day together and there are so many different emotions! Every couple has been unique.

What wedding tradition or trend do you wish would die and never come back?

I´ve never bothered looking at trends.

How do your couples describe you when they're recommending you to friends?

I looked through my testimonials and most of my couples says that “they love my high, infectious energy that keeps everyone upbeat and motivated”, that I´m a –“authentic and trustworthy person who feels like an instant friend”. And that I´m good at making “camera-shy” couples feel comfortable in front of my camera. (ok so I´m from Sweden where we have “Jantelagen” which discourages individual bragging or acting as though you are better than others THIS QUESTION WAS NOT EASY ha ha).

What’s something people would be surprised to find out about you?

It usually is that I lived in Guinea-Bissau in West Africa as a child. It was truly life changing. I had the time of my life and actually attended my very first wedding there! The traditions were so interesting and so different from the weddings here in Sweden when I got back. The love for weddings that don´t follow the usual concept started there. My family comes from both the north and the south of Sweden and I´m a strange mix of customs and traditions ha ha and I think outside the box a lot.

Hey there! I’m Tove (she/her). I’m a 70s child, a sci-fi geek, a mother and an eco-conscious documentary wedding photographer based in the beautiful city of Malmö, in the south of Sweden. I live here with my husband Thomas and our two kids.
When you book me to capture your wedding day in Scania or Denmark you might just get to meet Thomas too, he sometimes joins me as my trusted second shooter and we love hitting the road together with our wedding playlist blasting in the car! Unfortunately for him he drives – and I pick the music! Ha ha!
I´m born in the north of Sweden and have one foot in both the traditions and customs of the north and the south. When you mix this with three life-changing years living in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa and a couple of years of studies in social antrophology, human ecology, photography and art you get me. I am a strange mix of everything.
I photograph your wedding with future generations in mind, creating timeless images that will be loved for decades. If you feel nervous about being in front of the camera, don't worry. I know exactly how that feels and I make it my personal mission to make you feel completely safe and relaxed (pinky swear!). Let's document your day, your way.
