Mismatched bridesmaids all in shades of yellow and gold and awesome
We’ve been fans of non-matching bridesmaids since 2008, but we’re making love extra hard with the way that Liz here not only let her bridesmaids pick their own dresses, but celebrated their choices via these super-luxe photos from Rachel Joy Photos. Especially this one shot you have GOT to see, where the bridesmaids share how they met the bride…
The tiara that launched a thousand ships: a Cambodian wedding in Massachusetts
Jacqui and Sam had a two-day wedding to cover all their bases: the couple wanted to honor Cambodian and American ceremonies and traditions. Photog [vendor-heart link="http://vendors.offbeatwed.com/listing/zac-wolf-photography"]Zac Wolf[/vendor-heart] sent us photos from the colorful love-in that was day one (you can see day two here)! The events of the day took place in the couple’s home, and they participated in four separate ceremonies.
Carly & Travis’ Southern feminist love party
Carly from Two Spoons Photography, and her beau celebrated their amazing love (started at summer camp!) with an awesome alternative to a traditional ceremony: a series of toasts from loved ones and to each other. D’aww. Plus, their friends each brought their own DIY flair to the decor, food, MCing, guest book, and even the live music!
Vanessa & Jason’s Chinese martial arts New Mexican wedding
This pair went all-out on traditions by including lots of lovely moments from their cultures and interests. This included a tea ceremony, martial arts performances, a lion dance, an anniversary dance, and Spanish serenades. It would have been amazing to attend and see all of these carefully crafted elements come together to form this elaborate party. Plus the bride had three dresses, which is AWESOME!
