An Andy Warhol-inspired wedding had an artist’s eye and it totally shows
Gina and DJ had an art-inspired wedding with one of the most interesting cakes with an amazing story. There were Andy Warhol details everywhere (including the cake, as you’ll see!) including Warhol postcards tucked underneath the napkins, Campbell’s soup cans as vases in the centerpieces, and cookies based on some vintage Warhol wrapping paper.
Are you ready to see this artsy Warhol-inspired wedding at The Cleaners in Portland, OR come to life?
Check out this red-haired bride’s perfect pink mermaid gown
“We curated every aesthetic choice based on my own kooky vintage pink glam vision I dreamt up. My first thought was of the movie Steel Magnolias: ‘My colors are blush and bashful.’ ‘Her colors are pank and pank.'” This remarkable, gorgeous wedding is full of pink, vegan treats, tons of comedians (spot ’em, you’ll know ’em!), and an adorable flower pooch. There’s almost too much to take in here. But you can do it!
Find out how LARPers crashed this backyard vegan wedding
Jayme and Dominic are vegan motorcycle enthusiasts who planned the sweetest little backyard vegan wedding in California. Jayme walked down the “aisle” with her father to a ukulele version of “Today” by Smashing Pumpkins. Their handwritten vows were followed up by a whiskey flask unity ceremony in a public park amphitheater. The funniest part of the ceremony was the surprise background din of a meetup of 100+ LARPers having a battle!
A femme and a suit-wearing dreamboat have a must-see vegan Jewish wedding
“Tambourines. Fireball whiskey. Surprise crash by Daniel Kahn. Re-writing hetero Zionist wedding songs to be homo and diasporic.” This pair celebrates their non-gendered and gendered choices alike, as they were all about their own authenticity. Don’t miss the handmade skirt that made us swoon, the amazing rustic decor, beautifully chosen and customized Jewish traditions, and so so so much love in every photo.
