Mojo, mojitos, and a hair cutting ceremony: This might be the most DIY wedding you’ll ever see
Ariel and Samuel, the lovebirds of Bowerbird Photography had quite the amazing wedding at Mt. Tamalpais in Mill Valley, California. Everything was DIY with lots of help from family and friends. The day included a full-on pot luck dinner, musical numbers (with video!), a hair-cutting ceremony, and a ceremonial making of “mojo.” Enjoy this glimpse into a very cool wedding.
Our beach and buttons veggie wedding
On top of the couple’s awesome ink and gorgeous venue (with carousel!), there was also a beach just made for dipping. Not only did the groom’s guys take the plunge, the bride ended up swimming too, dress and all! With a button-y bouquet and vegetarian menu, this was never destined to be your typical beach-side soiree.
Lucy & Dan’s vintage vegan Buddhist wedding
This couple collected vintage plates and tablecloths to adorn a sweet little village hall, did a whole lot of DIY, and created a really cool earthy feel. Add in their Buddhist ceremony, vegan reception, and “Who’s Who” board (with baby photos of everyone!), and it’s a personalized party with panache.
Liz & Joseph’s rainbow flowery garden wedding
The groom’s parents own a garden center, so these two jumped at the chance to have a foliage-filled space to host their wedding. With a ROYGBIV backdrop of rainbow murals and a rainbow-clad wedding party (including a wiener dog in a yellow tux), you just can’t go wrong.
