Vintage snack: Ghost brides, mirrors, and black cats
It’s Halloween week, and we know nothing is spookier than ghost faces in windows and haunted old mansions. We’ve got both plus a roaming black cat and a Halloween superstition. Let’s celebrate Halloween vintage-style.
Anna & Jeremias’ Old Hollywood Swedish wedding
Old Hollywood meets Stockholm in this short and sweet ceremony and big party. 11 years of dating, a lot of DIY, some Mario Kart anecdotes, a subway ride to the reception, and a few anxiety hurdles made this day really eclectic but pretty fantastic.
Jessicah & Adam’s punk pop culture-filled wedding
This couple met making films and decided it was only right to make it official in the theater where they’ve spent so much time together. In addition to throwing out tons of references to their favorite shows and movies, these kids actually made two short films to start off the ceremony! If that wasn’t enough, you’ll get to see the groom’s rad giant green mohawk.
Kim & Greg’s low-key garden party Manhattan wedding
This couple didn’t let a tornado take their venue from them in this budget garden and lounge party. Lots of crafting and thought went into this one.
Kirsten & Dustin’s 1950s nostalgic rockabilly wedding
Our Lead Mod for the Tribe, Kirsten, knows a thing or two about weddings and she’s sharing with us her amazing, nostalgic rockabilly style. An art gallery setting, drool-worthy food, and lots of geeky touches will make you fall in love.
Dawn & Chris’ belly dancing colorful beach wedding
An ocean cake, sea salt favors, and a lifesaver ring guest book make for an amazing beach-y wedding. But add in breakfast-for-dinner, some track-suited studs, and a stunning multi-colored dress and you’re in for one fantastic wedding. But really, I’m here for the ring monkey and belly dancing. Don’t deny you are too!
