If you’re in the market for a wedding monogram for your invitations, your programs, your napkins, your dancefloor lighting(?!), it can be hard to make your own. It takes some graphic design skill that not all of us have. But I was poking around at Minted Weddings to see what new stuff they had going on and saw a free MONOGRAM MAKER.

While there are lots of invitations designers who either already produce accessible wedding invitations or can easily customize them for you, my first thought actually went to a video invitation! If you, or someone you know or can hire, can whip up a video invitation that speaks the information (at least the major highlights of date, time, location, etc.), that might be a secondary way to make sure your partner’s grandmother can watch and re-watch to get the info on to her calendar. I’m compiling this list of wedding dates to avoid in 2018, 2019, and 2020 in case you want to avoid holidays where family and friends might have conflicting events, holidays where vendors might be especially busy and/or expensive (think Valentine’s Day for florists), or religious holidays where places might be closed or guests might have other plans.
