Handmade boho wedding in the redwoods
Our theme was boho meets music festival. We had a camping wedding and were at the property with our friends and family for four days. Almost all decor was DIY and even the tables, chairs, and light posts were made by friends. We wanted to create a sort of bohemian festival-themed atmosphere, where everyone felt like they could do what they wanted in the space. The most important goal was to bring all of our family and friends together in one place and to make sure that everyone felt comfortable and welcomed.

Collin and I live in a very funky, folk community. We actually met in a ukulele class at a folk music festival, so when it came to our wedding aesthetic, it was going to be just as unique and beautiful as our lives are. Courtney and Brian share a love of nerding out with video games, so a Legend of Zelda forest-themed wedding at Ramekins in Sonoma, California was the order of the day. They ran into some issues with rain and weren’t sure if their outdoor wedding was going to go as planned. Thankfully, the rain stopped long to get mostly through the wedding.
