Brooke & Will’s Star Trek and peacocks handcrafted wedding
Robots and aliens have invaded weddings this week! It’s making me want to break it down in a binary solo. Today we’ve got some Star Trek lovers with a penchant for fall colors and DIY. The day may have started out on a wonky note, but it looks like this friends and family team was top notch at problem-fixing. Oh, and note that if you hand a flask to the bride, make sure it’s not too full!
Angeline & Kirk’s pink boots and kilts castle wedding
Things I love: pink Docs, dudes in kilts, frickin’ gorgeous castles… oh lookie here at this wedding with all of these rad things! The bride’s sweet memento of her late dad is adorable, too. But the best part is the very long-awaited wedding kiss… but not from the couple you might expect! You have to see how it goes down.
Sharon & Mike’s outdoor tandem bike wedding (with secret second ceremony)
This pair rode in on their tandem bike looking fab, taking names, and having the secular, non-legal wedding of their dreams. After a sweet ring warming (including a ring made from the bride’s late paternal grandmother’s ring), they accidentally walked away from the ceremony early. Wut? And yes, there was a second ceremony that was ADORABLE. Read on to see what happened.
A 1920s-era vintage wedding in a 19th-century Victorian house
In the mood for some fabulous vintage style? This wedding delivers. The bride, Courtney, gives us two dresses to satisfy our appetites: a lusciously beaded, green flapper-style number and a vintage 1920s dress with the actual accompanying headpiece, which we’ve been staring at covetously ever since we first saw it. There was even a photo shown at the wedding of the original bride wearing both pieces (look for it on the guest book table!).
