Amy & Jess’ glittery rustic barn wedding
Take one adorably crazy cat man with awesome hair, one Rubik’s cube-teaching bride, lots of helpful yoga-performing and cupcake tier-fixing friends and family, and a weekend of activities, and you’ll get a wedding I want to have attended. Sadly, I didn’t, but we can relive the events with wistful eyes and share in the joy that is a wedding with puzzle place cards and crossword programs.
Sarah & Aaron’s rustic forest camp-out wedding
It started with the vintage postcard invitations and ended with a nighttime game of “Monster.” That’s a pretty awesome way to have an outdoor camp-out wedding. Add in a potluck feast, a dance party to rival any and all barn dances, and sage advice on buying kegs, and you’re bound to enjoy this taste-of-rustic forest wedding.
Erin & Tadd’s quirky destination beach wedding
After a little snafu keeping their venue, this pair rocked the beach with their monster movie details, lush dessert buffet, and vows written by the wedding party. Plus, the groom had an additional challenge when removing the garter: the bride’s cowboy boot-shaped rain boots!
Bex & Cort’s big queer Jewish wedding
Bex and Cort planned a fab outdoor ceremony complete with lots of traditional and alternative takes on Jewish traditions, and were both fashion plates on top of it. Lots of laughter (including dad’s “presentation” speech and mad emcee skills) and lots of personalization made this day all theirs.
Morgan & Ryan’s woodland mythical handfasting wedding
You’ve seen this wedding teased here before, and since then, I’ve been dying to see more of this mythical, fantasy, gnome and fairy-filled Pagan wedding. Read on for all the forest-y details and amazing photos.
Jenny & Damon’s quirky steampunk Buddhist wedding
There are a lot of things to love about this wedding like the bride’s silver and blue dress, the groom’s monocle and cane, and the surprising sake ceremony. But frankly, I’m in it for the doughnut cake and glow sticks. There is definitely something for everyone at this creative shindig.
