Shazia and her family are Pakistani and Imran and his family are from Bangladesh. Both are of the Muslim faith. They hosted the seriously stunning South Asian three-day wedding of our dreams. A “10 years on fire” non-wedding in Madrid (with fire dancers!)
Maria and Sito wanted to celebrate 10 years of dating with an unofficial non-wedding rite with all their loved ones in Madrid, Spain. They didn’t want any official protocol, so they decided on a “ten years on fire” theme. This meant, of course, fire dancers, fire rituals, and a focus on reuse of materials for the decor. DIY was the order of the day! Let’s relish in their joy.

Rainbow meets steampunk at Jen & Clynton’s South Africa wedding
A steampunk cake with a rainbow middle totally encapsulates this wedding. Think rainbows everywhere with old clocks, feathers, copper and silverware, telephones, inkwells, and anything their imagination could invent. Borrowing from friends helped keep the budget down as did some creative thinking. Add in a few sword photos, awesomely mismatched centerpieces, and an amazing rainbow dress, and we’re all in.
